BBC Wildlife Magazine Your Photos competition

We want to see your wildlife photographs and by entering the Your Photos competition you could see your images in print, in an issue of BBC Wildlife Magazine.

Each image will be checked by our Your Photos editor and we'll also share the best entries online.

You can enter up to three images per month and each image should be accompanied by a 100-word story explaining:

  • where you took the shot and why you were there
  • when you took the shot
  • who you were with at the time
  • how you took the photograph - did you have to use any tracking skills to follow the species, where there any particular camera settings you needed to use to capture the image
  • what you saw happen (where there any interesting behaviours)
  • how you felt when you got the photograph
  • what happened next

Please note that this competition is separate to the themed online photo contests.

There is no fee if your image is published in the magazine, but it is a fantastic opportunity to see your photograph in print.

Please read our Your Photos competition terms and conditions before entering.

Good luck!
